Oh mate, the handmade pasta was a showstopper! It's a taste sensation that'll keep you dreaming. They served some cracking local ales that made the evening just right. By the way, the innkeepers were proper legends—helped me sort out a flat tire in no time!
Now, here’s the cheeky part, we were itching for an a la carte dinner menu all week, but it only popped up one night. The rest was just a limited bar menu, which was a bit of a letdown since we fancied a change from the narrow lanes out here!

During our stay, we appreciated the charming atmosphere of this historic inn. The food was a highlight, especially the catch of the day, which was excellent. The innkeepers went above and beyond to help us with our travel plans, making us feel truly welcomed. Accessing the inn via the narrow lanes was a bit challenging, but the beautiful and peaceful surroundings made it worthwhile.

Charming and Inviting with Delicious Food
Our stay was fantastic, with a cozy ambiance and welcoming hosts who made us feel like part of the family. The historical features of the inn added so much character, and the local Devon beer paired perfectly with our delicious meals, particularly the full English breakfast. the access roads to the inn can be quite tricky, so be prepared for that.

We had a lovely three-night stay in a comfy room and enjoyed a delicious dinner featuring fresh ingredients from the local farm. The place offered a fantastic atmosphere with live music and a sun terrace perfect for relaxing. Just a heads up, the breakfast options were set in advance, which limited choice the second day, but it didn't ruin our experience! 😊

Great stay with comfy vibes
We spent two nights and loved the chill atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The food was tasty, especially the dinner we had, and the location was just perfect for us. Only wish our room had better soundproofing, but it didn't ruin our stay at all.
